​Robert Brown (Lighting and Video Designer, Production management)

 

Originally from New York City, Robert has recently relocated to Australia. For the past eight years, he was responsible for the Lighting Direction and Production Management of the Paul Taylor Dance Company, touring across the USA, Europe, South America, and China.

Robert is highly regarded in the industry, having showcased his designs and work at renowned venues such as Lincoln Center, City Center, Warsaw Opera, Teatro National Santiago, Barrington Stage Co, Imagination Stage, Washington Shakespeare Co, Rorschach theatre, and in Australia at Melbourne Festival, Adelaide Fringe, and Wagga Wagga Civic.

Robert holds an MFA from the University of Illinois in Lighting and Projection Design, where he received a KCACTF National and Region III Design Award.
